Job Description


The successful applicant will report to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include:

  • strategic leadership and management
  • overseeing Bible-Media services and operations
  • digital platform management (development, security, analytics)
  • legal and compliance management
  • content creation
  • financial management
  • sales and marketing
  • fundraising
  • building national and international relationships
  • logistical management
  • personnel management
  • research and development.


  • relevant tertiary qualification
  • proven leadership and management skills
  • the ability to manage change
  • strategic insight into and understanding of the church and Christian environment
  • access to a wide network of strategic partners, including church and Christian institutions expertise regarding
  • functioning and use of digital platforms with application in a media environment
  • good operational understanding of IT and/or website design, development and programming
  • reformed theological positioning, embracing diverse viewpoints and church groups
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Afrikaans
  • strong business sense
  • experienced negotiator with proven marketing and/or fundraising experience and persuasive abilities
  • ethical and value-driven view of life, upholding Christian values.

Company Description

Bible Media is a non-profit Christian Media Ministry. It produces and provides content for faith development and support within three focus areas, namely Publications, Ministry and Support Services.

Bible Media is currently in a digital transformation process. The organisation is developing an integrated, multi-sided digital platform. Such a platform matches Christian customer needs with relevant content, experiences, and products in order to facilitate transformative experiences. It supports and develops Christian discipleship. This business model represents an agile approach.
