Job Description

A cutting-edge agency in the North is looking for a qualified Web Development Team Leader to manage their team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.

As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.  Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple clients
  • Excellent technical ability with proven track record in web and digital development.
  • Experience with the following technologies: PHP / MySQL / Javascript / HTML / CSS and a Javascript framework such as React, Vue or Angular.
  • Able to get hands dirty and give guidance to team members on development and architecture decisions (e.g. database design or UX flow)
  • Able to motivate for and sell solutions to existing and new clients
  • Hosting and system administration experience is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills
